This book is based around a love story with two people falling in love. Bella moves to a new area to live with her father as her mother travels a lot. The town her father lives in is small and a close community. This is a new experience for Bella and her father as they are not used to spending so much time together. She does know someone in town, his name is Jacob and his the son to one of Bella’s fathers friends.

On her first day at her new school Bella is blown away by a boy named Edward Cullen. As you will later find out in the book is that Edward is not a boy but a vampire. When they first meet Edward can not be around Bella as he wants to suck her blood. If he did this it would kill her or turn her into a vampire, he does not want to do this as he wants her to lead a normal life. By Edwards actions Bella believes that Edward dislikes her in fact he is keeping his distance as he is love with her.

Edward lives with his vampire family but they do not believe in killing humans. Edward tries to make Bella see that being a vampire is not a good life to lead. Vampires never age, so they have to move around all the time so they do not look out of place.

This is a true love story where to people have to fight to be together. As the saga goes on there are more and more obstacles in their way.

Sometimes divorce and separation is not a bad thing, Kit and Adam Hargrove soon prove this to be the case. They live in the a lovely New York suburb with a great big house and two lovely children that is until they get divorced. Kit is not happy with her marriage. Adam works on Wall Street and often works long hours and is never home. The area they live in is full of fake people only wanting to befriend you on the size of your house or what car you drive.

Kit loves Adam but she no longer wants to live this life. After the divorce is finalised Kit moves out of the massive house they shared together and into a small but perfectly formed house with her two children. Kit wants her children to have a stable and loving up bringing unlike the one she had. Her mother was a cold hearted woman and Kit always felt like a hindrance to her when she was growing up. When her long lost sister turns up she could not be happier. Kit’s sister Annabel had grown up in England with her father.

Their mother does not like the presence of Annabel and tries to make Kit see what a bad person she is. It is not long before Annabel slips up and shows her true colours. Not only does Annabel try to copy Kits life and take her money but also have a relationship with Kits ex husband. This is over stepping the mark for any sister .

If you want murder, lying and deceit in a book this is the one for you. The story is set in Hollywood which is home to the rich and famous. With money and power comes over inflated egos. Annabelle Maestro is the daughter of two hot shot movie stars. Annabelle is exceptionally beautiful and has all a girl could ever want, except she is involved with Frankie who is constancy on drugs. Frankie makes Annabelle feel more superior and like she is better then him.

Annabelles mother is brutally murdered by her husband Ralph. Ralph pays a hit man to kill his wife as he finds out she is having an affair and he cant cope with having it damage his reputation. This sends Hollywood crazy as one of the most loved actresses has been murdered. Denver Jones is an LA attorney who is sent to get to the bottom of the murder. She also went to school with Annabelle so knows her on a personal level.

Soon Annabelle and Frankie’s world comes crashing down as a story is leaked about them being in charge of an escorting business where clients would pay for sex with woman. The business is very lucrative and where they can charge large amounts of commission. They are able to live the high life in New York without having to ask Annabelles dad for money. Once the story is in out in the press they higher a PR firm to damage control the situation. As expected Annabelle comes out smelling like Roses.

In My Sisters Shoes by Sinead Moriaty

This is a heart felt book that may well bring a tear to your eye. The book is based around a family called the O’Briens who live in Dublin. They are a family that suffered a huge lost when the family lost a wife and a mother to breast cancer. When Derek, Kate and Fiona lost their mother it was a very tough time as they were all so young. Their Dad struggled to cope with his loss and buried himself in his work. This may have been very selfish but he had just lost the love of his life.

The up bringing of the children was left to the oldest sibling Fiona. This was hard on Fiona as she could not live the life of a normal teenager.

The book focuses on them being grown ups. Fiona and Derek and their Dad still reside in Dublin but Kate has fled the city to become a big shot Television presenter. The family are sent into deep shock when they find out Fiona also has breast cancerk the illness that killed their mother. Fiona has two young twin boys who she cannot cope with whilst she is sick. Her husband Mark, has a very important work project on. He is working towards a very prestigious award so Fiona will not let him quit to take care of the boys.

They call upon Kate to leave her London life to move home to Dublin to take care of Fiona and the Boys. She feels it is her duty as Fiona did it for her all those years ago.

The Secret Shoppers Revenge By Kate Harrison

This book is great as a lot of readers can relate to the characters. Rather then being a fiction book you feel that this book is written about real life. The Secret Shoppers Revenge is all about three woman coming together to prove that life is not all bad.

The three main characters in the book are Emily, Sandie and Grazia. They are all have very different personalities but something about them being together forms a very strong friendship. Emily is a single mum to Freddie and feels like her luck has altogether run out. Her husband has left her for another woman and she has no money and refuses to ask her husband for any. She lives her life by scrapping by that is until Grazia approachers her in the street.

Grazia is a middle aged woman who has been widowed. When her husband passed away she needed some form of income, his is when her secret shopping empire was created. She is sent assignments and needs to report the findings are the assignment has been completed.

Grazia could not complete the assignments herself as she is a very striking noticeable woman and for secret shopping you need to be able fade into the back ground. This is where Sandie and Emily come in. Before Sandie became a secret shopper she was a manager in a well known department store until she was unfairly dismissed. Grazia employs both woman to complete assignments. As all three ladies form a friendship they start to restore their lives back to normality and happiness.

Two’s Company by Jill Mansell

This book is all about resisting temptation and learning to cope with your responsibilities. The main story line focuses on adultery and how it effects and damages lives. A husband Jack, has an affair with another woman, Cleo and then realises it is a big mistake. Most men who have ever cheated realise that the grass is never greener. The other woman is portrayed badly as she went after a married man. She is young an attractive and is a lot younger then him. The relationship eventually breaks down as Cleo could not cope with Jacks older children and Jack refuses to have any more children. Cleo thinks that having a baby will cement their relationship and stop Jack running back to his wife. Jack eventually sees the light and now wants to rekindle the romance with his now ex-wife Cass.

Whilst Jack is having an affair his son Sean who is a hot young stand up comedian meets a girl and after a very short period of time she falls pregnant. This is a very hard situation for both Sean and Pandora as they have only just met and do not know each other very well. Pandora goes on to have the baby girl called and they call her Rose. After the baby has been born Sean seems to shy away from his responsibilities as a father. By the end of the book Sean falls in love with Pandora and Rose and he has to prove this to Pandora as he did not treat her very well in the past.
